COA Youth under 16 Soccer is a none for profit organization that leverages the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize youth in developing Africa countries to overcome their greatest health challenges, live healthier, more productive lives, and be agents for change in their communities.
Plans are ongoing to organise the 2021 edition of the prestigious Colors of Africa under 16 soccer tournament in 2021. Though we are still faced with the challenges of Covid 19 pandemic and the new variants, we are hopeful that the world will be a lot safer in 2021 and beyond. It is with this faith that we have commenced preparations for the first edition of Colors of Africa under 16.

The competition is open to under 16 junior national teams, all football academies and feeder teams of clubs affiliated to national football federations.

WHY SOCCER
Soccer(Football) is an integral part of local cultures in Africa and across the world. By using a soccer-based structure and curriculum, our team builds trust, engages youth in activity-based learning, and creates safe spaces where young people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing opinions, and supporting their teammates. We use the power of soccer to build confidence and resilience in young people so that they can take control of their lives and health, on and off the field.
